Company strives to bring faculty closer to industry

A new Purdue startup company will serve as a liaison between Purdue engineering faculty and industry. Purdue Engineering Consulting LLC, founded on Dec. 1, 2010, in the Purdue research park, is the brainchild of the College of Engineering Finance Committee; it provides engineering faculty strong ties to industry.

Labs and Testing Facilities

The School of Materials Engineering has an extensive array of tools available for materials preparation and characterization. These include facilities to perform micro-structural analysis, materials processing, and mechanical testing of metals, ceramics, polymers, composites, and a wide range of materials.
